Big Brother fans make prediction after Rylan Clark shares a 'tease'

Big Brother fans think they've worked out the meaning behind a "tease" photo Rylan Clark has shared on Instagram.

Back in August, ITV announced the return of Big Brother with a new series set to take place in 2023, and applications are now open to contestants.

Rumours surfaced in October that ITV2's Big Brother would be returning much earlier than originally expected. Reports stated the reality series would air some time in March 2023 instead of the usual summer slot most fans expected.

At the time, an ITV spokesperson said the return date could not be confirmed, as it was too early.

Rylan Clark, who won Celebrity Big Brother in 2013, has previously said he would love to host the new reality series. He told Lorraine Kelly : "I’ve spoken to Davina [McCall], I’ve spoken to Emma [Willis], there’s no point in lying, of course I’d love to go back to Big Brother, it feels like my second home. It changed my life.

“I met my ex on Big Brother, I got married [and] subsequently divorced from it. My whole life has been Big Brother.”

On Wednesday, Rylan shared a selfie alongside former Big Brother host Davina McCall, with no caption. Fans think the cryptic post is a "tease" for the new series.

Flocking to the comments section, Kirstie said: "Can only mean one thing, good old days of Davina doing BB". Jack said: "Big Brother team 2023?", while Steph said: "Does this mean what I think it means? If you two are hosting Big Brother I will lose my mind!!", and Lauren said: "Such a tease!"

Strictly Come Dancing star AJ Odudu is rumoured to be producers' favourite for the hosting job, although this has yet to be confirmed and AJ has remained tight-lipped on the subject.
