Big Baller Brand cancels international camp following Lonzo Ball trade

In May, Big Baller Brand announced their plans for an international basketball camp across Europe, where players would have the opportunity to learn the game of basketball from LaVar, LiAngelo, LaMelo and LaVar Ball for the price of $450.

The camp was scheduled to start on July 18 in Qatar, but in the aftermath of the trade that sent Lonzo Ball to the New Orleans Pelicans, it seems as though that camp has been cancelled. On Saturday, Ball posted a picture with his brothers, his grandpa and his business manager Darren “DMO” Moore at their childhood home, which, as far as we know, isn’t in Qatar.

As if that wasn’t enough evidence, LaMelo and LiAngelo have removed the initial announcement post from their social media accounts. The camp, which was supposed to make stops in Austria, Belgium, Switzerland has almost definitely been cancelled.

However, Lonzo is still planning on putting on a basketball camp and unlike the one Big Baller Brand organized, this one will be free.

The camp will take place at the Empower Sports Facility in Rancho Cucamonga. You can register at lonzoballcamps.com.
