Biffy Clyro to perform 'never been done before' show at iconic Glasgow venue

Biffy Clyro are set to perform a one-of-a-kind show in Glasgow.

The three-piece rock band will be playing the special show, which will be streamed worldwide, to mark the release of their new album 'A Celebration of Endings' on August 15.

The location for the gig is being kept top secret, but the band have promised fans a show unlike anything they've ever seen before.

Frontman Simon Neil said: "It's going to special. We haven't done anything like it before and we probably never will again."

"You won't have seen anything like it."

The band from Kilmarnock have also told fans that they will be playing a selection of songs from their previous albums during the soundcheck which will also be live-streamed.

In an online letter to their fan club, the band wrote: “We're delighted to announce that Biffy Clyro will perform an ambitious, one-off live show at an iconic Glasgow venue to mark the release of the new album ‘A Celebration of Endings’.

“This worldwide live stream performance will see the band play the new album in full for the very first time, across different spaces within the venue to create a unique and truly special experience.”

Biffy Clyro were due to play at the SSE Hydro on September 26 as part of their latest arena tour.

The live-stream of A Celebration of Endings will start at 8pm on August 15. Tickets are on sale now.
