Biffy Clyro has announced that their Glasgow homecoming gig set for 2021 has been rescheduled with a change of venue - after the show already faced postponement from its original 2020 date.
The gig, which was part of an original 2020 tour that had to be changed due to the coronavirus pandemic, was planned to go head at Bellahouston Park this June instead.
However, the Kilmarnock rockers announced yesterday that this gig will now take place at Glasgow Green on September 9 2021.
Tickets are on sale now through Ticketmaster and other ticket sales outlets including GigsinScotland.couk.
The Scots band were gutted when their first arena tour in four years had to be postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic but are hopeful that this year's gigs will go ahead as planned.
Starting at Glasgow Green in September will pre-empt further dates around the UK as part of the Fingers Crossed Tour, which will be a string of intimate gigs celebrating the release of their eighth album, A Celebration of Endings.
With support at Glasgow Green from Yungblud, Frank Carter & The Rattlesnakes and Porridge Radio, the gig in September 2021 should hopefully see Scotland on the other side of current coronavirus restrictions.
Speaking about the show, the band said, “We’re so excited to play Glasgow Green in September. We’ve missed playing for you guys a lot and wish June could happen but alas... See you in September to tear it up!!”
