Biffy Clyro announce Celebrations of Endings tour and Newcastle Utilita Arena gig

Biffy Clyro will perform at Newcastle Utilita Arena on the band's 2020 tour.

The rockers release their eighth studio album, A Celebration of Endings, in May and will head out on the road in the autumn for their first full UK arena tour in four years.

The tour includes a gig at Newcastle Utilita Arena on Tuesday September 29.

Tickets go on sale at 10am on Friday March 20.

They will be available online through Seetickets , Ticketmaster and the arena box office.

So far, Biffy Clyro have released two songs from their upcoming LP.

The apocalyptic synths and bombastic beats of lead track ‘Instant History’ demonstrated the band’s continuing evolution, while ‘End Of’ presented a mix of their roots and eye for unpredictability.

“This is a very forward-looking album from a personal perspective and a societal perspective,” said frontman Simon Neil.

‘A Celebration of Endings’ is the band’s eighth record and follows their previous two studio albums – ‘Ellipsis’ (2016) and ‘Opposites’ (2013) – both of which went straight to #1 on the Official Albums Chart.
