Leeds United are back in the big time but how will the Whites perform next season after their return to the Premier League?
We have asked football writers from around the Reach PLC network their thoughts on having Leeds back in the top tier and where they could finish next term.
Here is what they had to say.
Adam Jones - Everton
Is the Premier League a better place for having Leeds United in it?
Yes. They are a big club in the context of English football and having them back in the division will certainly be an interesting prospect at the very least!
Where do you think they will finish roughly next season?
I think any side that has come up from the Championship will be aiming to just stabilise themselves in the Premier League in the first instance, so I'm presuming that Leeds will be in the bottom half the table but will survive relegation.
Oliver Harbord - Chelsea
Is the Premier League a better place for having Leeds United in it?
Definitely better. They have a real history in the top flight and it has taken them too long to get back there. Certainly going to make it an exciting season.
Where do you think they will finish roughly next season?
I think Bielsa will shock the league early in the season, but then once things settle down then they could finish comfortably in mid-table.

Paul Gorst - Liverpool
Is the Premier League a better place for having Leeds United in it?
Yes, Leeds are definitely one of those 'big' clubs who belong in the top flight. So much history. Great to have them back.
Where do you think they will finish roughly next season?
I think any newly-promoted club has to focus first and foremost and 17th. Anything else will be welcomed and give them a chance to build from there.
Art de Roche - Arsenal
Is the Premier League a better place for having Leeds United in it?
On the whole I feel the Premier League will be better with Leeds United in it. Seeing how Marcelo Bielsa implements his style against the top teams and how they respond will be great to watch. Alongside this, having a club of Leeds' stature back should be nothing but a positive considering the history they have in regard to rivalries with current Premier League teams.
Where do you think they will finish roughly next season?
Although it won't be a barometer for how their entire season will go, they gave Arsenal problems when they played at the Emirates last season. I think they could have a similar year to that of Sheffield United where teams struggle to find a way to nullify their style of play, leading to them climbing the table quickly. I'll go for a mid table finish with a chance of qualifying for the Europa League.
Alasdair Gold - Tottenham
Is the Premier League a better place for having Leeds United in it?
Of course, they've got plenty of history in the competition and Elland Road is a great place for fans to head to.
Where do you think they will finish roughly next season?
I think they have to be realistic next season. Of course Sheffield United have shown what can be done but next season is all about staying up first before building on those foundations. A 15th/16th place finish would be a success in their first year back.
Ashley Preece, Aston Villa
Is the Premier League a better place for having Leeds United in it?
Yes, Villa have previous with Leeds following THAT crazy match in April 2019 when Klich controversially scored despite Villa's players stopping - only for Marcelo Bielsa to show his class by allowing Adomah to score. Leeds are massive and their return back to the big-time has been a long time coming.
Where do you think they will finish roughly next season?
17th
Dominic Booth, Manchester United
Is the Premier League a better place for having Leeds United in it?
Absolutely. Leeds have been away from the top flight for too long and, even though many Manchester United fans wont openly admit it, the Premier League will be better for their return. Bielsa, the Leeds fans, Elland Road, reigniting old rivalries... they are all big factors. It should be interesting.
Where do you think they will finish roughly next season?
Lower mid-table. They should stay up comfortably, though they may flirt with relegation at one stage.
Joe Bray - Man City
Is the Premier League a better place for having Leeds United in it?
Yes, definitely. Leeds will bring numbers to the Etihad, and likewise City fans will appreciate the shorter journey over the Pennines for a game with a bit more bite than, say, a trip to Bournemouth. Leeds should be competitive after two seasons building a promotion-winning team, and won't fear anyone in the Premier League.
Where do you think they will finish roughly next season?
There's no reason Leeds can't have a similar season to Sheffield United in 2019/20. They have a tight-knit squad who have been together for a couple of years and all buy into the way the manager wants to play, and they will have momentum from this season. Saying that, surely the only aim for Leeds - or any promoted side - is to stay up and re-establish themselves as a Premier League outfit. I'd say mid-table.
