Leeds United are one of the most entertaining sides to watch in the Premier League alongside Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool, according to Gary Neville.
Leeds were held to a 0-0 draw by Arsenal on Sunday, but despite the scoreline the game was packed with incidents, with Marcelo Bielsa’s side hitting the woodwork three times and Nicholas Pepe receiving a red card for a headbutt on Ezgjan Alioski.
It was just the second time Leeds have failed to score in the Premier League this season, with the Whites netting 14 times in their nine games so far.
Rodrigo, Patrick Bamford and Raphinha all struck the woodwork at Elland Road and Sky Sports pundit Neville was impressed with the performance of Bielsa’s side.
"It didn't feel like a 0-0, because Leeds entertain us, they play really good football and create lots of chances,” he said on The Gary Neville Podcast.
"They had 25 shots on goal, some really good chances and hit the woodwork three times.
"You never feel like you are watching a boring game (with Leeds). Certain teams - Tottenham under Pochettino, Liverpool under Klopp and Leeds under Bielsa - you always feel you're getting a really good game of football.
"They take the game to the opposition and it means that the opposition have to do something.
"I felt it was a good game to watch. I enjoyed the first half more, 11 v 10 is never great. It just takes something away from the game.
"That just meant the game became a little bit more dour.
"The beauty of Leeds is that man-to-man all over the pitch, going for it, and we lose that when Arsenal are just sat back on the edge of their own box, playing a more compact defence."
The draw means Leeds are now winless in their last three league games, but although they couldn’t find a way past Bernd Leno there were plenty of positives to take from Sunday’s performance.
Bielsa’s pressing system limited the Gunners to just 34% possession and just two shots on target, while Raphinha’s first league start was encouraging and record signing Rodrigo made an impact off the bench.
Leeds will now look ahead to Saturday’s trip to Goodison Park to play Everton where they can try to add to their 11 points from nine matches.
