'Bielsa only has one way of playing' - Simon Jordan's Leeds United verdict and Arsenal prediction

Former Crystal Palace chairman Simon Jordan has been full of praise for a 'very good' Leeds United side, but he cannot see anything but an Arsenal win on Sunday.

The Whites look to bounce back from back-to-back defeats on Sunday as they welcome the Gunners to Elland Road. Prior to the two-week international break, Marcelo Bielsa's team came unstuck against Leicester City and Crystal Palace, losing both matches by the same 4-1 scoreline.

The successive losses have somewhat dented Leeds' impressive start to life back in the Premier League. After a 16-year absence from the top-flight, Bielsa finally took the Yorkshire-based club back to the promised land.

Do Leeds United need a backup for Kalvin Phillips?

In their opening game, they produced a sensational performance against the reigning champions Liverpool and were very unfortunate to come away with nothing in a 4-3 loss.

The roles were reversed next time out, as the Whites beat Fulham 4-1, before wins over Sheffield United and Aston Villa later down the line ensured a really promising start. Bielsa's relentless pressing style of football may have suffered as a result of the constant consecutive fixtures, but with a two-week break it could benefit the side to some degree,

Jordan, who was the chairman of Palace for 10 years, believes Bielsa's side have shown what they're capable of in the Premier League.

However, the talkSPORT pundit thinks Arsenal will bounce back from their shock 3-0 defeat to Aston Villa prior to the international break.

Speaking to talkSPORT, Jordan said: “The 4-1 to Crystal Palace could easily have been the other way round. Leeds are a very good side.

“I think it will be a very exciting game of football. I expect Arsenal to win but it will be a very good game of football. It does seem that Bielsa only has one way of playing, on the front foot, and that could prove tricky against better sides.”
