Leeds United fell to a 1-0 defeat with Brighton & Hove Albion on Saturday at Elland Road meaning it’s just six points from the last 15 available in the Premier League.
Neal Maupay scored the only goal of the game in the first half to secure all three points for the East Sussex side.
Here are some of the moments you may have missed before, during and after the match.
Hernandez’s Valencia link-up
Pablo Hernandez took the chance to catch up with one of his old comrades from his La Liga days before the match kicked off.
Between 2009 and 2012, Hernandez shared a dressing room with Brighton coach Bruno Saltor at Valencia.
The Spanish pair were seen chatting to one another before the warm-ups got underway.
Poveda’s Colombian roots
There are not too many footballers in the Premier League born in London to Colombian parents, but Ian Poveda and Steven Alzate were and go way back.
Alzate is two years Poveda’s senior, but they mixed in the same circles as they grew up in the capital before heading off to different clubs.
They took one of their rare opportunities to chat with one another before the game on Saturday. Alzate did not get into the pitch, unlike Poveda.
Ayling gives Rodrigo a rollicking
In the 41st minute, as the first half began to peter out, Luke Ayling’s frustrations with how the match was going shone through.
Rodrigo, not for the first time, failed to stay with his man and track back as Brighton drove up the pitch and onto the Leeds defence.
The visitors won a throw-in and while the ball was dead, Ayling made sure Rodrigo knew how unhappy he was with the work ethic and usefulness without the ball. It lasted a good 10 seconds or so.
Bielsa’s Brighton link

Benoit Delaval, United’s fitness coach, was with Marcelo Bielsa when he was at Lille in 2017. So too was Yves Bissouma.
The Brighton midfielder was spotted chatting with Delaval by the mouth of the tunnel after the match had finished.
White’s return
All eyes were on the Brighton man upon his first return to Elland Road since winning the Championship title and returning the Whites to the top flight.
After the game, he spent several minutes chatting with a raft of the current United roster. Poveda, Pascal Struijk, Liam Cooper, Tyler Roberts and Jack Harrison all had extended chats with him.
However, the most poignant moment came on his way back to the dressing room after his post-match broadcast interviews in front of the John Charles Stand.
Bielsa was heading in the other direction and they bumped into each other on one of the walkways in the stand.
Bielsa had his hands on White’s shoulders and they spent 30 seconds or so chatting very warmly, all smiles.
