The Twitter accounts of hundreds of companies and public figures have been hacked in a major cybersecurity breach at the social media platform. Joe Biden, Barack Obama, Bill Gates and Kim Kardashian were among the people affected - with tweets posted on their accounts seeking payments of Bitcoin, promising it would be doubled. Twitter said the attack targeted employee systems to gain access to the accounts. More than $100,000 is believed to have been sent to the hackers.
