Joe Biden says he is “done” talking about Donald Trump. The president told a CNN town hall event: “For four years all that has been in the news is Trump. The next four years I want to make sure that all the news is about the American people.”
Mr Biden also echoed former presidents when he described the White House as a “gilded cage” and said he was “self-conscious” about how attentively he is catered to there.
Other topics the new president was asked about include the idea of “defunding the police” and China’s human rights record, on which he said Beijing would face “repercussions”.
