President Joe Biden, in a recent interview, expressed doubts about his fitness to serve another four years in office while reflecting on his presidency and potential future plans. Despite this uncertainty, he maintained that he could have won reelection to a second term based on polling data.

During the interview, President Biden discussed his initial reluctance to run for president in 2020 but ultimately decided to enter the race when former President Trump sought reelection. Biden acknowledged concerns about his age and fitness, which had been raised since the beginning of his bid for reelection. He withdrew from the race last July after a debate against Trump and endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris.

President Biden also addressed his meeting with President-elect Donald Trump in the Oval Office, where he attempted to dissuade Trump from pursuing political vendettas against his opponents. Biden mentioned that he was considering preemptive pardons but had not made a final decision on issuing them.

One of Biden's key concerns moving forward is the potential rollback of major climate legislation that he signed in 2022. He criticized Trump for spreading misinformation about the driver of a recent vehicle attack in New Orleans, clarifying that the individual was a U.S. citizen and Army veteran, not an immigrant as implied by Trump.

Reflecting on his future, President Biden expressed uncertainty about his ability to serve another term, citing his age and the unpredictable nature of life. He emphasized the importance of truthfulness in leadership, contrasting his approach with what he described as Trump's tendency to distort facts.

As he prepares to leave office, President Biden's reflections offer insights into his presidency and the challenges he faced during his tenure. The interview provides a glimpse into his thoughts on potential future actions and the legacy he hopes to leave behind.
