President Joe Biden’s campaign has agreed to a new potential date for the vice presidential debate, as confirmed by a campaign official. This decision comes after former President Donald Trump selected Ohio Sen. JD Vance as his running mate.
Initially, the Biden campaign had accepted two dates for a potential VP debate, namely July 23 and August 13. Subsequently, they have also given the green light for August 12.
In response to Trump's choice of running mate, the Biden campaign official stated, “Now that the Trump campaign has selected a running mate, we encourage them to agree to a debate between Vice President Harris and Senator Vance.”
