A bicyclist was seriously injured when he ran a red light and was struck by a van in Streeterville Wednesday night, according to Chicago police.
The man, 32, was hit by a Honda van in the 500 block of North Lake Shore Drive about 8:35 p.m., police said.
He was taken in critical condition to Northwestern Memorial Hospital, police said.
No one else was injured and no citations were issued, according to police.
