Bible John victim's husband urges police to release photo-fit of witness to unmask killer

The husband of a Bible John victim is urging police to release a photo-fit of the only other witness who could unmask the serial killer.

George Puttock, who is battling health problems, fears he will never find out who murder his wife Helen.

And he his begging police to track down the man identified as 'Castlemilk John, the Daily Record reports.

He said: “Why they have never released an image of this man who was said to have been a friend of Bible John is beyond me.

“I don’t understand why they never did an artist’s impression of him. It’s not too late, they could still do it even today.”

Helen was the third victim of Bible John. She was raped and killed in Scotstoun, Glasgow, in 1969.
