Bianca Gascoigne reveals family's cute nickname for Dancing On Ice star brother Regan

Dancing On Ice star Regan Gascoigne has a sweet nickname that only his family call him, according to sister Bianca.

The 35-year-old model has opened up about her younger brother's stint on the show in a new interview - saying how proud she is of him.

Bianca also shared the family nickname they have for Regan, saying: "Week after week, he's blown me away!

"Regan has the purest soul, and at home we call him Regan the Vegan because he's so conscientious and thoughtful.

"She went on to add that as much as it's been an incredible journey watching the professional dancer on the show, it has been "difficult".

"But watching Regan on the ice has been difficult, too, because there have been some nasty injuries on the show, like skin being sliced open, breaks and sprains.

"I'm always on the edge of my seat, because I know he could really hurt himself - it feels slightly bittersweet."

Bianca said their dad, ex-footballer Paul Gascoigne, has also broken down in tears watching Regan on the telly every Sunday.

"We all get really emotional, because he's such a beautiful performer. The costumes and productions are so beautiful, as are the dances that the professional skaters create."

Surprisingly, Bianca revealed she would "love" to do the show one day.

She added: "I'd love to do the show one day - hopefully after seeing how good Regan is, they'll ask me to be involved next year! I wouldn't be nearly as good as him though!"

Over the weekend, Regan got emotional after judge Jayne Torvill was left moved by his performance.

It was Torvill and Dean week - which meant couples were tasked with recreating some of the professional skaters' most iconic performances from over the years.

Many of the stars managed to impress the judges, but specifically Regan and his dancing partner Karina Manta.

Jayne was left touched by their routine to Barnum by Cy Coleman, Michael Reed Orchestra and started to get emotional as she gave them feedback.

She told Paul Gascoigne's son: "Technically your skating has always been good.

"But tonight I think everything came together. I think the performance...

"I'm getting emotional now."

Jayne had to stop mid-sentence as she began welling up.

Meanwhile, judge Oti Mabuse saved her as she began praising Regan's incredible performance.

She added: "Regan, do you know what? For a couple of weeks I kind of felt you were on the same level for a while.

"But tonight this was a different level, this was expensive. And expensive in terms of you were so technically good.

"That was fantastic and it's exactly what we want to see when we think of Regan skating."

Holly said: "Regan, this obviously clearly means so much to you to hear those comments from the judges."

By this point, Regan was choking on his tears as he told the judges: "It's just insane. It's not even just a story, it's a life for you.

"It's such an honour to get to recreate something from part of your life."
