Bianca Censori is determined to let people know that she’s capable of more than just skin-baring outfits and interesting takes on hosiery.
The 30-year-old Australian designer and wife of Kanye West has launched a new performance art project entitled Bio Pop, which will span seven years and several different themes.
It began on Thursday morning with the first instalment, a livestreamed freeze-frame sequence of Censori baking a cake in a sparse kitchen while wearing a blood-red PVC leather catsuit. It was supposed to last for 15 minutes in total.
However, the wheels quickly came off as the livestream accidentally revealed the entire Premiere Pro project before coming to an abrupt end around 11 minutes in. The video is now unavailable.
According to a press release, Bio Pop marks Censori’s “formal introduction into the art world,” with Thursday’s livestream acting as “the first chapter in a seven-part series over the next seven years.”
The livestream is accompanied by a sculpture of several women who resemble Censori. The bodies are twisted and contorted into various explicit positions and restrained inside furniture.

As per the press release: “The furniture recalls padded medical crutches, extensions of the body that appear when it falters. Shearling, bone-colored upholstery, brushed metal frames.
“Each piece is not passive support but an apparatus that moulds the body, turning comfort into confinement and domesticity into architecture. The doubles inside the furniture become extensions of the design, collapsing the distinction between object, body, and idol.”
The release explains how Censori is supposed to bring her freshly baked cake to the Bianca-Censori-body-table, where she places it as “not nourishment but offering”.
The kitchen and dining room are the first of seven performance art pieces that will span seven years. The projects have multiple names and dates assigned to them, with the first being “Bio Pop” and “The Origin”. Other names include “Bianca Is My Doll Baby” and “The Idol”.
Alongside the performance art project, Censori is now also selling her own jewellery. This includes two silver bracelets, one moulded to look like a medical speculum, and one moulded to look like a scalpel. They are available for $2,250 and $2,100, respectively.
Censori first rose to fame in 2023, when she began dating controversial rapper Kanye West. The pair have made countless headlines due to their on-again-off-again relationship and Censori’s regular explicit public appearances, including a stunt at the 2025 Grammy Awards where she stepped onto the red carpet wearing an entirely sheer dress with no underwear.

West and Censori met while she was working as his Head of Architecture at Yeezy. Before this, she was an accomplished architect in her home country of Australia. She has a history of crafting explicit, shock-factor sculptures and furniture, including a cocktail table that balanced on the back of a female sculpture, bent over and bound with ropes.
According to Censori’s website, the next instalment in her Bio Pop art project is due to take place sometime in 2026. We await its arrival with bated breath.
