Bhubaneswar: OUAT teachers press for demand

BHUBANESWAR: Members of the University Teachers' Association, Odisha University of Agriculture and Technology (OUAT), Bhubaneswar, on Saturday urged the institute vice-chancellor to fulfil their 18-point charter of demands, including reform in the direct recruitment and career advancement scheme (CAS).

Addressing a press conference, association president Sanjay Kumar Mohanty said his institution was following guidelines of the University Grants Commission (UGC) for CAS of teachers/scientists/subject matter specialists (SMSs) of Krishi Vigyan Kendras (KVKs), associate professors, professors and deans.
