BHOPAL: A man and his mother booked on charges of attempt to murder after they allegedly smashed the head of a 40-year-old man with a stick over a petty dispute on Dussehra.
Investigating officer SI R S Dwivedi said that the complainant Sajni Banjara, 47, a resident of Banjara Basti stated in her complaint that accused Ajay and his mother Kamla (45) misbehaved with Bablu. Later Ajay brought a stick and attacked Bablu and smashed his head with it. He sustained grievous head injuries and was rushed to a nearby hospital, where the accused duo promised to pay their hospital bills, so that they didn’t approach the police.
Gandhi Nagar police have registered a case of attempt to murder against two and the woman has been taken into custody, police said SI Dwivedi said that during investigation it came to light that Bablu was drunk and had hurled abuses at the family on Dussehra night.
