Bhopal: Woman arrested for hubby’s murder

BHOPAL: A woman arrested for murdering her husband with the help of her friend in Satna district. The murder took place around 8 months ago, but the remains of body were recovered three days ago.

The incident took place at Usraha Tola village under Singhpur police station of the district. Skeleton tied to stones using iron wires was found by locals from a well situated on the outskirts of the village, as the well had dried up, on June 18. Based on the remains of clothes that were found on the skeleton the deceased was identified as Shivkumar Kushwaha who was reported missing on October 21, 2021.

Police said that the missing person report was made by the wife of the deceased around 2 months after Kushwaha went missing. The call records of the deceased’s wife also led to suspicion, subsequently she was rounded up and on interrogation she accepted of killing her husband with the help of her friend, Kailash Kushwaha, said police. She took her husband to a deserted place near a well situated on the outskirts of the village, where Kailash attacked him with sticks and later strangulated him, thereafter both tied stones with the body and threw it inside the well, said police. Both were arrested.
