Bhopal: Three duped in e-fraud

BHOPAL: On Wednesday, three online fraud cases were registered at Kolar police station In the first case, Viresh Bhai Patel, stated in his complaint that on September 12, he saw an advertisement and sent his documents on the number given in the advertisement. Next day the accused sent him a joining letter for the post of data entry operator in the company and asked him to pay Rs 2250 towards registration and lured him to pay Rs 21000.

In the second case, online fraudsters duped an unemployed youth to the tune of Rs 37000 on the pretext of a job in a telecom company. Complainant Gulshan Patel, a resident of Customs Colony in Kolar, stated in his complaint that he was duped to the tune of Rs 37000.

In the third case a woman, Archi Yadav, a resident of Sarvdharm Colony, was duped by an online fraudster after she posted an advertisement to sell her used cooler on an online portal. Rs 52000 were siphoned from her bank account in multiple transactions.
