BHOPAL: Heat and humidity will continue into the weekend, but there is rain respite likely next week.
The day and night temperature on Friday were above the normal mark in Bhopal as well as other parts of the state.
Officials of meteorological department said, there is no strong system over the state, currently.
There is a cycer over central Maharashtra and axis of monsoon trough over Sagar. These may lead to moderate showers at a few places, but the state will have to wait some more for widespread showers. Day temperature in Bhopal on Friday was recorded at 33.7 degrees Celsius — three degrees more than normal mark, and night temperature in the city was recorded at 26.9 degrees Celsius — also three degrees more than normal mark.
