BHOPAL: Sputnik V vaccine for Covid-19 was administered for the first time at a private hospital in Bhopal and close to 300 vaccine doses that were brought in were all administered within 3 days.
Sources from the hospital said that there has been tremendous response. Now there is no stock of Sputnik V vaccine left, but orders for around 1000-1200 doses have been placed.
A total of around 290 doses were received by us and all those vaccines were administered in only three sessions, said sources.
Several people have already registered themselves and several calls for enquiry are being received, added sources.
It is expected that the next lot of vaccine will be available by July 15, then the vaccination will again be carried out, said sources from the hospital.
