BHOPAL: A special POCSO court here on Monday sentenced a person to life imprisonment till death for raping a 13-year-old minor.
According to district spokesperson for the prosecution wing of police, father of the rape survivor had lodged a complaint at Bagh Sewaniya police station that on Novenmber 21, 2019 he asked his 13-year-old daughter to throw the garbage outside. She went to dispose of the garbage, but didn't return. After a while, he went along with his wife outside and found that their daughter was missing.
On her return, the victim told the police that when she had gone out to throw the garbage, the accused asked her to come with him for an outing.
Since he was like a brother to her, she sat in the taxi that he drove. The accused took her to Indore, where he raped her.
