BHOPAL: A 36-year-old bike-borne man died after an unidentified speeding vehicle knocked him down on Monday evening. A case was registered at Gunga police station.
Investigating Officer HC Raees Khan said that deceased Dhan Chandra Ahirwar, 36, resided with his family members in Pipaliya Kadim village in Gunga. He worked at a factory in Aarcharyapura in Gunga.
“On Monday around 5.30 pm when he was going to factory by motorcycle, a speeding unidentified vehicle hit him on Bhopal-Berasia highway near Lalghati, Gunga,” said HC Khan adding that locals called ambulance and he was rushed to a state-run hospital in Berasia, where he died. A case was registered at Gunga police station and efforts are underway to identify the accused vehicle driver. tnn
