BHOPAL: A 19-year-old girl was allegedly molested by a Seoni-based youth in MP Nagar on Thursday. The survivor filed a complaint against the accused with MP Nagar police who registered a case of molestation against the accused on Friday.
Enraged with the incident, three friends of the survivor allegedly abducted a friend of the accused, took him to a flat in Katara Hills where they allegedly assaulted him. MP Nagar police on Saturday registered a separate case against the trio.
SHO MP Nagar Sudhir Arjaria said that the survivor girl lives in Govindpura and is a BCom final year student. She told police that on Thursday the accused took her to a hotel in MP Nagar where the accused Vishal allegedly molested her. She managed to flee from the spot and sent an SOS to her friends. Her friends rushed to her rescue and picked her up. In a fit of rage, they however took Vishal’s friend Danish, 22, an LLB student, to a flat in Katara Hills where they assaulted him. Danish later told cops that they also took Rs 50,000 from him before leaving. He then approached MP Nagar police station and lodged a case against the three accused including the girl’s boyfriend.
