BHOPAL: A teenaged girl was allegedly threatened and raped by a 17-year-old boy in Misrod locality a day before Raksha bandhan. After two days of incident, the survivor started complaining of abdomen pain. When her family members counselled her and the terrified girl revealed the entire incident, the matter was reported to Misrod police on Tuesday.
Acting on the girl’s complaint Misrod police registered a rape case against the accused under relevant sections of IPC and POCSO Act and started the investigation.
The survivor stated in her complaint that the accused minor is a neighbour; he frequently visited her home.
A few days ago, when the survivor’s family members had gone out for some work and she was alone at home, the accused came and locked her door from inside. He allegedly outraged her modesty threatening her of dire consequences and left the spot, said cops.
