TV show Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah will soon get a new face as the naughty teen Tappu as Bhavya Gandhi, who essayed the character for eight years, has now quit the show.
Tellychakkar quoted Bhavya as saying, “Yes, I have quit the show in the month of January. The journey of eight years and eight months has been fruitful. I have enjoyed working with my Taarak cast and Asit (Modi) sir (producer). In the same way in which my fans have showered me with love, I would want them to support me for my future endeavours.” The report claimed Bhavya plans to explore new characters and challenge his own acting skills with different roles.

Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah is a family show that has been on air on SAB TV since 2008. It is about families hailing from different parts of India living together in a housing society. Tappu’s character is the leader of the kids’ gang in the society where they are known as ‘Tappu sena’. Other famous characters from the show are Daya (Disha Vakani), Babuji (Mandar Chandwadkar ) and Taarak (Shailesh Lodha).
