NEW DELHI: Indian cricketers draw huge crowds wherever they go and when it comes to superstars like Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma, fans do tend to go berserk for an autograph or a selfie.
The stupendous victory in Perth in the first Test and the win against Prime Ministers XI in the two-day warm-up match in Canberra under their belt, the Indian team is a confident lot.
As the Indians landed in Adelaide for the pink ball Test against Australia starting from Friday, the Indian cricket board (BCCI) shared a video of Indian captain Rohit Sharma signing autographs after the victory in Canberra on Sunday.
The video, shared with the caption, "The wait of a decade finally ends. A fan waited for 10 years to get a @ImRo45 autograph and yesterday was his lucky day #TeamIndia", shows Rohit signing autographs while fans on the other side too plead for an autograph.
After calling out his name multiple times, one fan pleads, "Rohit bhai please dus saal ho gaye yaar…" and that brings a smile to Rohit's face.
And the Indian captain turns and signs an autograph for the fan. Rohit's gesture made the fans cheer with joy.
