BGT viewers complain about sound issues that left judges ‘sounding like DALEKS’

BGT viewers were left fuming minutes into tonight’s semi-final show after persistent sound issued left the judges sounding robotic.

Mic trouble saw fans flock to Twitter to complain, with some claiming the judges sounded like they were ‘talking into tin cans’.

One viewer even went as far as calling for the sound man to be “sacked” while another asked if Simon Cowell and co. had swallowed helium.

Another viewer compared the judges’ tinny voices to daleks.

Fans were left scratching their heads as they struggled to make out what the judges were saying following the opening act by Lil Icons.

The adorable group of nine to 18-year-olds wowed the judges who described the performance as the “best opening act so far”.

One viewer called for the mics to be fixed, while another demanded to know what happened the sound.

Another quipped: “Sounds like T-Pain has been messing with the sound”.

Following the first ad break, the sound issues appeared to have been resolved.

The semi-finals have been riddled with errors, with the wrong act being named as a finalist during last night’s show.

The awkward blunder during last night’s live show was not missed by eagle-eyed viewers, who questioned where Siobhan Phillips’ name went from the finals board.

The blunder incorrectly suggested that fellow semi-finalist Matt Stirling had replaced her.

The error was rectified on sister show Britain’s Got More Talent, when Siobhan’s place in Sunday’s final was reconfirmed.
