BGT: The Champions leaves viewers furious as they're unable to vote for a winner

Last night saw the grand final of hitting screens, and viewers were treated to a star-studded talent extravaganza as acts from BGT competitions around the world battled it out to be crowned top dogs.

Competing in the final were the likes of Stavros Flatley , illusionist Darcey Oake, dance group MerseyGirls and singers Bars & Melody.

With such an incredible amount of talent on show, picking one winner was never going to be easy, but after the votes were counted and verified street-dance duo Twist & Pulse were revealed as the show's ultimate champions.

However, not everyone was best pleased with the outcome, and viewers took to social media to vent their frustrations.

Writing on Twitter, one annoyed viewer said: "2nd time this year a BGT result has angered me. Public can't be trusted. I mean Stavros Flatley are fun 'en all, but they should never have made the final, along with Twist and Pulse. Kseniya Simonova should've won, she was incredible. Dogs 2nd, Bello & Annaliese 3rd."

"I am absolutely angered with the result of #BGTChampions . That little girl and her dogs were one of the best things I've ever seen. That's real talent and dedication. Can't even believe Stavros came second, they're absolute talentless TRIPE," said somebody else.

A third wrote: "Wrong winners British public should of been voting not bunch of teenage girls that clearly voted for twist and pulse."

BGT the champions final leaves viewers livid

"Awful result... that’s what happens when teenagers vote.... no way were Stavros & Twist & Pulse better than the sand lady or the dogs."

Many of the frustrations arose as fans of the show realised they wouldn't be able to vote for a winner, with the final having been recorded several weeks ago.

While it was clear that the initial semi-final shows had been pre-recorded, viewers were under the impression that the actual final would be live, and they'd be given a chance to vote.

However, this wasn't the case, and many were left disappointed.
