BGT's steamy dance duo Aaron and Jasmine storm through to final after tense vote

Britain's Got Talent's head judge Amanda Holden had the final say in who went through to the finals on Saturday's show.

And she chose seductive dance duo Aaron and Jasmine, whose fiery chemistry on the dancefloor she had already applauded following their performance.

This means the remaining acts who performed on the night are up for the public vote to find out who will go through to the final.

Aaron and Jasmine beat ten-year-old singer Souparnika Nair, comedian Allen Finnegan, magician Damien O’Brien, school choir Class Dynamix, dog act Amanda and Miracle, mother and daughter singing duo Honey and Sammy, and gothic dance troupe Coven.

Hosts Ant and Dec announced that the Coven, Aaron and Jasmine and Souparnika Nair were in the top three but that only one act would win the judges' vote.

Casting his vote, David said: "This is very hard these are three very different acts... I have to go with the act I felt electrified by, and that's Aaron and Jasmine."

Alesha Dixon voted for the Coven having hailed them as "the best performance of the night".

Ashley Banjo voted for "the most complete and successful performance of the night" which he felt was the Coven.

But head judge Amanda had the final say, and she chose Aaron and Jasmine, who hugged each other and sobbed with joy.

"We have dedicated our lives to this, and it's so nice to show it and share it with the world."

"If you ever consider making the duo into a trio, I would very much like to dance with you guys," joked David.

As the act performed earlier on in the show, Amanda cheered: "Yeah!" as the paired writhed and very nearly locked lips.

"More fire!" gushed Alesha Dixon, "That was hot, and I loved it!"

Amanda chimed in: "It was so super sexy!

"The chemistry between you two, even though I know their isn't, is incredible.

"I think everyone just wishes you would just get on with it!"

But the duo, who live together, insisted they are just good friends.

*Britain's Got Talent will return next Saturday at 8pm on ITV.
