BGT's most dangerous ever act takes deadly twist that horrifies the judges

Britain's Got Talent: The Champions viewers witnessed the most dangerous act in the show's history tonight.

There were serious fears that father and daughter duo Bello and Annaliese Nock would die during their death-defying routine in 'the wheel of death'.

The daredevil Americans could easily have fallen to their deaths while rotating in giant rings on separate ends of a swing that kept getting faster.

The judges had their hearts in their mouths as they watched the pair jumping, doing flips and climbing on the contraption.

There were no wires, harnesses or safety nets - which made the big twist at the end even more horrifying.

Just as it seemed the act was coming to an end when Annaliese got out it took another terrifying turn.

Presenters Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly were stunned as free-standing Bello clambered on top of the ring.

As part of the act he then pretended he was losing his balance and seemed like he was going to fall.

Amanda Holden's jaw dropped, David Walliams struggled to watch, and Ant confessed: "That was one of the scariest things I’ve ever seen."

Dec told the pair: "I have a daughter and I get nervous just doing piggybacks."

Simon Cowell claimed they were "certifiably insane" - but clarified he meant it as a compliment.

He added: "The reaction here is everything I hoped it would be. you are one of the most incredible acts were had on Got Talent over the years.

"I'm amazed you’re still here as every time you do something I'm afraid you’re going to die."

David joked: "Well it was absolutely horrible wasn’t it. I could barely watch it as it was terrifying. Don’t we have a health and safety department on this show? How was that allowed. It was absolutely incredible."

The comedian then cheekily compared Bello to Jedward's dad because of his hair.

Alesha said: "I felt so dizzy watching you but it was so much fun. The showmanship was incredible."

While Amanda added: "I think the coolness of your daughter versus you...you are absolutely nuts but I loved you."

Bello and Annaliese both rose to fame by performing separately on America's God Talent.

Annaliese climbed into a coffin that exploded before emerging unscathed, while Bello shot himself himself out of a cannon over helicopter blades.
