BGT's Kyle Tomlinson 'unrecognisable' after first appearance on show at 12 years old

One-time child star Kyle Tomlinson looks drastically different from his days on Britain’s Got Talent.

The teenage singer was just 15-years-old when he blew the judges away on the talent show in 2017 - receiving the Golden Buzzer from judge David Walliams.

After being getting the converted buzz from the Little Britain co-creator, Kyle - now 19 - was sent straight through to the semi-finals of 11th series of the ITV show.

Kyle's second time up on the Britain's Got Talent stage went better than his debut appearance in 2014.

Future fan David advised the then 12-year-old star that he needed to work on his skills before returning to audition again.

The judge told him: "I think you need to go away and maybe work with a singing teacher or something."

Returning three years later, Kyle had clearly changed something, as his rendition of Leonard Cohen's Hallelujah hit all the right notes with former critic David.

Sending him straight through to the semi-finals, the comedian told Kyle: "I thought it was really good."

Kyle also went on to impress Britain's Got Talent creator and judge Simon Cowell with his version of Adele's When We Were Young.

The music mogul told the budding singer his performance was "world class" and added: "You absolutely amazed me."

Kyle managed to make it all the way to the grand final of the ITV show, impressing both viewers and judges along the way.

After belting out Christina Perri's A Million Years, the judges couldn't praise the Sheffield-born star enough.

Amanda Holden told him: "You are stunning and have the most soulful voice."

Original supportive fan David gushed: "I’m just so in awe of your talent, that was extraordinary."

Although a hit with the judges, it wasn't quite enough for Kyle to take home the top prize - finishing 6th in the final behind winner Tokio Myers.

Four years on it appears the talented singer is still performing and chasing his dreams.

His Instagram account reveals he regularly performs a number of gigs across the country and his LinkedIn profile reveals he has taken to the stage all over the world.

"I have performed all over the world for large corporate events in Abu Dhabi, Geneva Italy and Holland to name a few," the Golden Buzzer winner writes.

Kyle goes on to reveal he's keen to pursue a career in TV alongside continuing with his singing career.

"I am available to perform for any event worldwide. I am theatrically trained with the London college of Music with distinctions," he explains on LinkedIn.

He adds: "I am always open to new challenges, singing acting TV work whatever is thrown at me I will always give 100%."
