BGT's Ant McPartlin suffers painful fall live on air just MINUTES into semi-final

Ant McPartlin suffered a painful fall just minutes into Britain's Got Talent's first live semi-final.

The host joined co-host Declan Donnelly and dance group Diversity on stage for tonight's opening number when he fell down.

Dec appeared shocked as checked whether Ant was OK, helping him up as he tried to laugh it off.

Unable to resist the chance to rib Ant, Simon Cowell quipped it was his "favourite opening ever", but asked: "Ae you ok?"

"I'm fine," a red-faced Ant replied. "Let's get on shall we?"

The hit ITV show was back with a bang tonight with its first live semi-final - which included TWO golden buzzer acts.

Among those included Gamal John, 36, who wowed the judges with his rendition of James Brown classic It's A Man's Man's World.

Judge Bruno Tonioli was so wowed by the audition that he whacked his golden buzzer, prompting gold confetti to rain on the stage.

Meanwhile 27-year-old Musa Motha earned a special golden buzzer from the whole panel after wowing with his incredible dance routine.

The dancer, who in his audition explained that he had his leg amputated after being diagnosed with cancer, performed a stunning contemporary routine to Runnin’ (Lose It All) by Naughty Boy ft. Beyoncé & Arrow Benjamin.

“That was one of the most extraordinary auditions I think I’ve ever seen on this show. I’ve so much admiration for you, what you’ve been through," Alesha gushed.

While Bruno added at the time: "That was exceptional!”

Also competing in tonight's line-up was illusionist Enzo Weyne, ukelele musician and school teacher Abi Carter-Simpson, comedian Ichikawa Koikuchi, sunbed receptionist-turned-singer Amy Lou, the Parkour Collective and ballroom and Latin group United 2 Dance (KLA).
