Britain's Got Talent viewers were left utterly speechless as magician X unveiled his identity as host Ant McPartlin this evening.
X managed to bewitch the judges back in 2019, later revealing himself to be 2018 runner-up Marc Spelmann.
And with his big return this evening, Marc had his work cut out to level up his last performance on BGT.
First, Marc asked David Walliams to sign the back of a card, Ashley Banjo to put an object in the present and Amanda Holden to press nine random numbers following 07 on his phone and Alesha Dixon to pick a random card with a name from the deck.
Amanda dialled the number, which took her through to a man called Christian Nardy - whose name was on the back of Alesha's card.
Marc then put on his mask and turned into his X persona, with the judges glued to the screen.
As Christian, who was on the video call, was placed on screen, he was seen pulling out the watch Asjley Banjo had put into the box, which had been signed by David Walliams.
Then, on the video call, Christian was seen pulling off his mask and Marc was revealed to be underneath, grinning as he gave them a wave.
The stunned judges gasped before turning to the person on stage, who also pulled off their mask... revealing themselves to be Ant!
David, Amanda and Ashley leapt up off their chairs, with Alesha pointing her finger at him.
Ant, meanwhile, grinned as he held up the mask and pointed at it.
He said: "It was me! I've been X all these years!"
Alesha exclaimed: "I love it when Marc comes to town!"
"Most magicians are there, and Marc is there and there and there," Ashley joked. "It just blows you away every single time, it's amazing."
