BGT magician Ben Hart's £20 trick exposed by fans - who brutally brand it 'boring'

Britain's Got Talent viewers were left unimpressed with magician Ben Hart's magic trick this evening.

The magician began his trick by asking judge Amanda Holden to sign a £20 note before he announced that he intended to "blow life" into the cash.

He then twisted the money into an origami butterfly before making it levitate between the palms of his hands.

Finding his trick dull, fans took to social media to complain about the trick being "boring."

"Why does the camera always pan to the audience or Ant & Dec during the magic act while the sleight of hand is taking place???? #BGTChampions ," quizzed another.

Head judge Simon Cowell was also left disappointed after watching the performance, which he relayed to Ben with his critique.

Simon said: "Let me be brutally honest with you Ben. When you are competing with the rest of the world, having gone through the show this year, you’ve got to up your game, you didn’t in my opinion.

"In fact, it was not as good as what you did I think a few months ago. You have amazing imagination Ben, for whatever reason you played it safe tonight.

"I’m not voting but I don’t think that’s enough to get you through to the final."

However, judges Amanda, Alesha Dixon and David Walliams disagreed.

Shutting Simon's comment down, David said: "What a load of absolute rubbish. He’s not coming out singing and dancing and kicking his legs with fireworks attached to his ankles, he draws you in because he’s a true artist.

"He made me believe in magic and I don’t even like magic that much. But I love this guy."

After Ben's time on the stage, Amanda gushed: "There is this old soul weirdness that I enjoy every time,I couldn't take my eyes off you."
Alesha agreed, as she added: "You have this aura about you, you have these magic eyes and you draw us in, I thought it was wonderful, I think you're wonderful."
