Britain's Got Talent judge Bruno Tonioli landed himself in hot water with his fellow judges after breaking the rules on the latest episode of the ITV show.
Former Strictly Come Dancing judge Bruno, who joined Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden and Alesha Dixon on the BGT judging panel for the new series following the departure of David Walliams, pressed his Golden Buzzer for the second time during auditions. Bruno awarded the honour to singer Gamal John, who blew the audience away with his rendition of It's A Man's Man's Man's World by James Brown.
Bruno's surprise move meant that he became the first judge on the show to get two Golden Buzzer acts - guaranteeing the contestants a place in the live semi-finals. But the rule-breaking action sparked chaos on the judging panel, with Simon joking that Bruno was "about to get fired", The Mirror reports.

After Gamal's audition left everyone impressed, the judges were met with chants from the audience to "press the buzzer". But despite hosts Ant and Dec explaining that there were no Golden Buzzer chances left, with all judges having pressed theirs for acts in earlier auditions, Bruno declared: "I have to do it".
As Bruno got up and pressed the Golden Buzzer for the second time, Simon was left covering his face as Ant shouted: "What the hell? That's not allowed!" Amanda added: "You only get one! Oh my god, this is chaos," while Alesha asked: "What have you done to this show?"
However, Simon ultimately decided to let the rule-breaking slide, leading to Gamal celebrating on stage with his young son as Ant and Dec ran out to shoot confetti over them. But it's not the first time that Bruno has made a blunder when it comes to the Golden Buzzer, as he was also scolded by his fellow judges when he first pressed it earlier in the series.
Deciding that he wanted young dance group Ghetto Kids to go straight through to the semi-finals, Bruno got up to press the buzzer - but hit it when the group was mid-performance, rather than waiting to the end of the act. Bruno was left red-faced after Simon told him off, with Ant remarking: "Someone didn't explain the rules of Britain's Got Talent to him."
