BGT hopeful who pelted Simon Cowell with eggs is now a Disney composer

The Britain’s Got Talent musician who rained eggs down on Simon Cowell eight years ago is now a composer for Disney.

Natalie Holt was part of the orchestra providing backing for singing brothers Richard and Adam Johnson in 2013.

But she stole the headlines when she ran onto stage and lobbed eggs at the shell-shocked star.

Her career hasn't be derailed by the attack on Simon, gatecrashing her pals' performance to make her point.

Natalie is now 38 and is the composer for Loki, the latest Marvel series on Disney+.

Recently working on the soundtrack for British film Paddington, the BGT egging hasn't set her back despite saying she regretted her actions.

She said sorry for wrecking her friends' performance - but didn't apologise to Simon (ITV)

"I basically took a stand against people miming on television and against Simon and his dreadful influence on the music industry," she told The Telegraph at the time.

"I want to apologise to Richard and Adam for overshadowing their performance.

"I’ve never done anything like this before and in hindsight I have realised it was a silly thing to do."

"My actions were intended as a non-violent, egg-based protest because I think Cowell has too much power and influence in the entertainment industry.

"I also just wanted to make him look a bit silly."

She added: "The consequences of my prank have already turned out to be more serious than I had anticipated. I have already had work cancelled."

Natalie's work on Loki has won praise from critics.

The Washington Post claimed: "Loki is beautifully scored by British composer Natalie Holt, who delivers a mostly suspenseful and mysterious vibe while providing Marvel's horned menace with a theme song that might just be the Marvel Cinematic Universe's best."

As well as playing the viola, Natalie can play the violin, piano, mouth organ, guitar, Chinese harp and sing
