BGT fans convinced they know who masked magician is - and it's a familiar face

Britain's Got Talent fans convinced they know the secret identity of the masked magician.

A mysterious masked performer took to the stage during Saturday night's show for a spooky performance.

Ant McPartlan and Declan Donnelly's bond was put to the test as the performer proved they have telepathic powers.

The silent magician did not utter a word, refusing to speak to Simon Cowell , which left Ant and Dec guessing who they might be.

Britain's Got Talent fans took to Twitter after watching the spectacle with some interesting theories.

Could it be Elizabeth from the first show? (ITV)

They believe the masked magician could be creepy performer Elizabeth from last weekend's show.

One fan asked: "This the same woman back from last week ?

"It's that woman from last week wearing a mask She said she'd be back and it wasn't over," added another.

A third said: "It will be the woman from last week"

Elizabeth terrified Amanda Holden during the series opener.

The magician transformed into a woman who died over 100 years ago in front of her eyes.

Britain's Got Talent viewers were left baffled tonight when she promised to return - but never did.

Following her performance she told them ominously: "The night's not over yet."

Could she have made a comeback tonight?

Ant joked about the identity (ITV)

Naughty Ant cracked a gag about the identity of the BGT hopeful as he watched from the sidelines.

Stunned Dec pulled a face after Ant's joke about his wife, Ali Astall, before the magician performed.

He said: "Imagine at the end they take off the mask and it’s someone we know. Like your wife."

Dec saw the funny side (ITV)

Pretending to be furious, Dec shouted: "What!"

The giggling presenter, who clearly saw the funny side, said: "Now that would be a shock."
