BGT acts' past fame exposed: Bradley Walsh series to The Greatest Showman hit

Britain's Got Talent 2022 already has an array of talent in the running to be crowned this year's champion of the ITV series.

From singers to dancers and comedians, and dog acts, there's already so many good performances to remember.

But some of those who have impressed the judges and viewers at home are no stranger to being on the telly, or being well known.

In fact, some of the acts we've already seen have actually appeared on other versions of the 'Got Talent' franchise, while some have been on other TV competitions.

Here's a look at where you may have seen some of the recent auditionees before their stints on BGT, including one star who provided the vocals on a well known movie track.

One contestant who wowed the judges and viewers last weekend was singer Loren Allred, who gained judge Amanda Holden's Golden Buzzer.

She confirmed she was the vocals behind the hit track Never Enough on The Greatest Showman - while in the film, the performance is carried out by actress Rebecca Ferguson.

Rebecca doesn't actually provide the vocals for the song and instead lip syncs it - with the vocals actually belonging to Loren, as she explained on the show.

She performed this very song on the show, leaving Simon Cowell "speechless" and some viewers stunned to realise it was her voice, and not the actress singing the song.

As well as her vocals featuring in a huge film, Loren also appeared on The Voice in the US in 2012, and she had Adam Levine as her coach.

Loren wasn't the only one to have appeared on other televised competitions before their BGT audition.

French dance act Les Sancho certainly impressed the crowd last weekend, and fans were surprised they did not get a Golden Buzzer.

But back in 2020, the same act auditioned for the French version of the 'Got Talent' series, making it all the way to the final after getting a Golden Buzzer.

Illusion act Matricks Illusion are another act that were epic when they performed on Saturday night, but are no stranger to televised routines.

As well as appearing on a YouTube TV series, the act were once on an ITV show hosted by Bradley Walsh.

Siblings Alex and Emily and their group appeared on Keep It In The Family in either 2014 or 2015, and have gone on to perform at a number of events too.

If viewers are correct about the identity of The Phantom, then this act has already performed on BGT twice (ITV)

Then there's dog act Amber and Nymeria who performed a trick-filled routine for the judges with the panel overwhelmed.

Simon Cowell said: "Unbelievable. You know I love dog acts but this was in a different league."

Called the "best dog act ever", this is Amber and her pooch's second 'Got Talent' stint as she also appeared on Holland's Got Talent in 2020, and she came third place.

If viewers are correct about the identity of The Phantom, then this act has already performed on BGT twice.

Fans are convinced illusionist Marc Spelmann is back again with a new routine, after already auditioning twice in 2018 and 2019.

Following this, he went on to star in America's Got Talent: The Champions where he made the semi-finals, before he appeared on a Christmas special of BGT in 2020.

Fans now think he is back for more and behind The Phantom persona, but they will have to wait and see.

Finally, comedian and Golden Buzzer winner Axel Blake has also had some pre-BGT fame, as viewers recognised him from an Amazon Prime Video show.

His comedy set I'm Not Gonna Lie was filmed in 2018 at the O2 arena, and was uploaded to the streaming service - and some BGT viewers were quick to remember the comedian from this when he appeared on BGT last weekend.
