BGT 10 year old singer brings the house down with stunning voice and wins fans' hearts

Britain's Got Talent has a fresh contender for the win after 10 year old Souparnika Nair (Sou) stole the show with her beautiful voice.

She came onto the stage in front of Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon and David Walliams and sang her heart out - and won herself an army of fans in the process.

"To finally be on the show is just overwhelming," she nervously admitted, "I still can't believe it!"

Sou added: "I'm feeling really nervous about the audition. This is definitely the biggest thing that I've ever done."

Before belting out Judy Garland's Trolley Song, she shared her dream of performing on a West End stage when she's older.

While Amanda danced in her seat, Simon held up his hand to stop the song - which earned him boos and hisses from the audience.

"I love you," he told her, "But I didn't love the song. It's the song of song that David would sing if he ever released a single."

Simon went on to request Never Enough from hit musical The Greatest Showman - and didn't regret it as he got on his feet to join the crowd's standing ovation.

"That is a mountain of a song, and you conquered it!" David gushed.

"I can't get my head around the fact that you're ten years old," Alesha said, "Standing up there like a little professional."

Amanda chimed in: "It's quite an old fashioned voice that you've got, which I love. You've hit every single note. Well done!"

Finally it came to resident meanie Simon to give his verdict.

"I've got to be honest with you," he said, leaving Sal on edge, "You absolutely nailed it!"

She, of course, got four yeses.

Fans were just as stunned by Sou's performance, taking to Twitter to fawn over the talented youngster.

One gushed: "#BritainsGotTalent OH THE GOOSEBUMPS, THIS GIRL!"

Another agreed: "HOW IS THIS CHILD TEN I have goosebumps what a talent #BritainsGotTalent."

A third fawned: "Wow wow wow wow that little girl amazingggg #BritainsGotTalent."

One poured praise on Sou for taking Simon's criticism so well: "What a star. She took that so well. #BritainsGotTalent #BGT."
