'Beyond question' - Nottingham Forest fans have their say on Anthony Knockaert's future

Anthony Knockaert has made five appearances for Nottingham Forest since joining on loan from Fulham.

Heralded as a massive coup when he joined, the 29-year-old has yet to produce his best form consistently despite a promising debut against Derby County.

With his loan set to expire in January, Forest fans have been debating whether they would like to see his stay extended on our Facebook page.

John Bouri: His quality historically is beyond question at this level. However coming to a below par performing team so short on confidence is not so easy for any player. Put him in a high pressing attack minded team and he’ll be the best of his type in this league and an asset

Garry Birtles and Sarah Clapson take stock of Chris Hughton's time at Nottingham Forest so far

Matthew Hopkins: He probably needs some time. He hasn’t been playing all that much previously. He’s undeniably quality but not shown it yet. He will come good.

Jon Macaulay : Trying too hard, showed glimpses in last two games, needs game time.... defo keep

Justin Hayes: Needs a few games to get an understanding of the players around him....runs they/he makes etc. I'd like to see him stay for the season but that's it as he's out of our price bracket long term. If we go up, we need better, if we don't he's expensive & would upset our ffp imo

Neil Saunders : Agree with what people saying so far not really hit the form he can play at but what I will say watching the games the quality he puts in to the box off set pieces etc we’ve not had since reidy in my opinion

Ian Tyler: I would extend. The talent has been proven and takes 2 players out as there is a need to double up on him. Creates room naturally. It's not always when you have the ball you have to look what's happening off the ball too.

Jon Hobley : He's obviously a good player and we have seen glimpses but he will gel and I think, he'll be a regular starter that'll make a difference.

Javier Alejandro : He’s been good. I don’t get why people say he’s been poor. I see him as a solid player.

David Weston: Think we should keep him, we haven’t been playing well as a team so far, & I think he can definitely be a difference maker

Debra Smith : Not sure we have seen the best of him yet. If he can produce his best then it is worth keeping him but he hasn't convinced me just yet.
