Beyonce used bizarre tactic to work out if her design team told her truth

One could be forgiven for thinking Beyonce was pulling a Wagatha Christie of sorts – a Bey-gerac, if you will – with her new line of work-out gear.

She purposely designed literally the least appropriate clothes possible for working out in, just to see if she could trust anyone on her team to tell her the truth about them.

Unfortunately, seeing as these outfits have made it way past drawing board stage, that cannot be the case.

In her defence, these clothes – for her Ivy Park collaboration with Adidas – probably are amazing to work out in, with just one small proviso.

You have to be Beyonce .

Beyonce probably exercises with a wind machine making her look picture-perfect at all times, and that long, voluminous, transparent red number would look great billowing in the breeze.

Plus every time it gets caught up in whatever exercise machine she’s on, one of her minions can untangle it.

Likewise picking her up every time she trips over it.

As for the incredibly high- cut purple number – yes, that probably would be really uncomfortable if you weren’t Beyonce-shaped and Beyonce-confident like Beyonce is.

And the long sleeves mean an ordinary mortal would probably be drenched, but it’s almost definite Beyonce doesn’t sweat. I mean, come on, as if.

So in a nutshell, anyone who thinks Beyonce’s workout gear is impractical only has themselves to blame.

Serves them right for not being Beyonce.

She's become a fashion icon during her long - and insanely prestigious - musical career.

Beyonce and rapper hubby Jay-Z showed their faces at Sean 'Diddy' Combs' recent 50th birthday bash, the Crazy In Love singer bringing the customary glitz and glam with a strapless black and silver crystal embellished Kujta & Meri gown with leaf-detailing and a thigh-high slit.

Try saying that when you're drunk.
