Beyoncé takes centre stage for Front Room Festival on Sky Arts

Beyoncé is one of the artists set to feature in Sky Arts’ newly announced Front Room Festival, bringing together archive gig footage from some of the world’s most popular musicians.

With summer music festivals cancelled this year, the channel is helping music fans get their fix from home across the next few months.

First up, a greatest hits selection from the Isle of Wight Festival will air from June 12 – 14, featuring performances from the likes of David Bowie, Rod Stewart, Amy Winehouse, Fatboy Slim, Faithless, The Specials and Blondie. These will air from 7pm each night.

Beyoncé’s I Am… World Tour concert show will air on July 4, featuring a performance from the run of shows that took place from 2009 to 2010. Kings of Leon’s Live at The O2 show from 2009 will also be broadcast on July 11.

Meanwhile, highlights from Austin City Limits festival will be shown every Sunday throughout July beginning on July 5, featuring sets from Billie Eilish (July 5), Florence & The Machine (July 12), Sam Smith (July 19) and The Pretenders (July 26).

There’ll also be an extensive library of musical performances and films for viewers to access, featuring more than 80 concerts from the likes of Oasis, Coldplay, Kylie Minogue, Alicia Keys, Ed Sheeran, Queen and Chic & Nile Rodgers.

The shows will be available to watch on Sky Arts and on NOW TV via an entertainment pass. For more information, head here.
