Beyoncé's Ivy Park has cut ties with Sir Philip Green

Beyoncé launched her clothing company, Ivy Park, alongside Sir Philip Green's high street store in 2016.

The affordable athleisure brand, which is named after Beyonce's daughter Blue Ivy, launched with a 200-piece collection and has gone on to become a successful string in the Topshop empire.

Today Beyoncé's production company, Parkwood Entertainment, announced that it is cutting all ties with Topshop.

In October, Sir Philip Green was named in the House of Lords by Lord Hain as the man who had obtained an injunction following a string of accusations of sexual harassment and racial abuse.

Hain stated in parliament: "I feel it’s my duty under parliamentary privilege to name Philip Green as the individual in question given that the media have been subject to an injunction.”

Since the revelation, many fans have called for Beyoncé to sever ties with the billionaire, whilst many millennials have boycotted Topshop altogether.

Parkwood Entertainment has now confirmed that the 37-year-old songstress has now bought the retailer mogul out of the Ivy Park brand.

A spokesman told the DailyMail: "After discussions of almost a year, Parkwood has acquired 100 per cent of the Ivy Park brand."

Given the business move, we presume that in the coming months Ivy Park will no longer be available to purchase at Topshop. Currently, though, the Ivy Park website lists stockists including Arcadia retailers, along with ASOS, Selfridges and JD Sports
