Beyoncé's 'Cowboy Carter' Set To Debut At No. 1

Beyoncé laying on bed

Beyoncé's highly-anticipated new album, Cowboy Carter, is set to make a big splash on the Billboard charts next week. The country-themed album is expected to debut at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, with industry experts predicting a massive first-week performance.

Since its release, Cowboy Carter has been a hot topic, generating headlines and sparking discussions about Beyoncé's talent and her foray into the country music genre. With a dedicated fan base and widespread curiosity surrounding the project, the album is poised to be a major success upon its chart debut.

According to projections by HitsDailyDouble, Cowboy Carter is expected to debut with 403,000 equivalent units, which include both pure sales and streaming equivalents. The album is also forecasted to sell around 170,000 copies in its first week, solidifying its position as a top seller.

If the predictions hold true, Cowboy Carter will mark Beyoncé's largest debut in years, surpassing the performance of her previous albums. Her last album, 2022's Renaissance, debuted at No. 1 with 332,000 units, while Lemonade launched with 653,000 equivalent units in 2016.

The success of Cowboy Carter is expected to set a new benchmark for 2024, with Beyoncé likely to hold the record for the biggest debut of the year. However, the upcoming release of Taylor Swift's album, The Tortured Poets Department, scheduled for April 19, is anticipated to challenge Beyoncé's reign on the charts.
