Beyonce brings the stars out in Sunderland as famous fans flock to Stadium of Light

A few famous faces, including a Little MIx star and Strictly Come Dancing finalist, were in the crowd at Sunderland's Stadium of Light on Tuesday night as Beyonce reigned supreme over Wearside on her Renaissance tour.

After kicking off the UK leg of the tour in Cardiff and Edinburgh, a captive audience waited for Queen B to arrive on stage at SAFC's famous ground. Fans had started queuing outside the stadium hours earlier and among the celebs who headed for a slice of the action were TV stars Helen Skelton and Steph McGovern.

The Strictly finalist and Packed Lunch presenter had a clear view of the stage from their hospitality box, with both of them having glitter on their faces and Helen going all out in the style stakes, by rocking a pair of spangly silver trousers.

The ladies weren't the only ones to dress for the occasion for Beyonce's Renaissance tour in Sunderland as former X Factor winner turned stage sensation Joe McElderry donned a very eye catching custom made silver cowboy hat, along with some striking trousers, as he arrived in style on board a party bus, along with friends including Steps star Faye Tozer.

Inside the ground, Little Mix icon Jade Thirlwall made some fans' nights as they spotted her and grabbed a photo, with Jade taking to Instagram after the gig to describe it as "unbelievably phenomenal" and a "out of body experience," with the 30-year-old adding that she had a headache as her brain 'couldn't take the epicness..'

Elsewhere in the Beyonce crowd, Angels of the North star and owner of celeb favourite Longlox Supersalon, Sammyjo Pearson looked to be having a ball as she enjoyed a night out with mam and Angels of the North co-star Bev.

They all witnessed Beyonce put on one huge spectacle of a show, with stunning sets and costume changes and pyros galore as the music megastar blistered through a set that was very heavy on tracks from the Renaissance album and also included massive crowd pleasers like Crazy in Love, Formation and Naughty Girl.
