Beyonce breaks another record with her current Renaissance World Tour

Amazon Music has announced through that Beyonce has broken yet another record.

The giants revealed on Twitter on Friday that her Renaissance World Tour collaboration with Amazon Music has broken the record for Amazon's first-day merchandise sales from an artist collaboration.

It comes not even a day after the exclusive merchandside from her current tour went on sale. The line includes t-shirts, a sweatshirt, joggers, a poster, vinyl, CD, and digital music.

The t-shirts and sweatshirt include a photo of Beyonce studded in diamonds on a silver horse, a nod to the Renaissance album cover.

Amazon Music announced the collaboration two days prior on Twitter, with "Drop 1.0" written which could be a hint to more exclusive drops between Amazon and Sasha Fierce.

Beyonce's tour started on 10 May in Stockholm Sweden and is set to end in New Orleans on 27 September. The tour so far has broken over 10 venue records, including three at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. She's the first act to sell out five shows there and the biggest gross in the history of the stadium.

The Renaissance Tour shares its name with Beyonce's latest album which was released in July 2022. The album debuted with 16 of them in the top 21 songs on Apple Music.

It also amassed 43 million streams on Spotify, breaking another record. As of 2023, Beyonce has surpassed two billion streams on Spotify.

Last week, while performing in Hamburg, Bey suffered a wardrobe malfunction that was quickly covered up by one of her dancers. He quickly stood in front of her while she shifted her dress into place and in true diva style, the concert continued as if nothing happened.

That's not the only issue that Beyonce ran into on her tour. While in Amsterdam, sitting on top of a glittering silver horse, she issued a "cry for help" when she was left stuck there. Her production team missed their cue.

Hopefully, the rest of her tour is smooth sailing and she'll be breaking more records in no time.
