Beyonce is coming to Sunderland, this is not a drill.
The First Lady of music will be visiting on a whistle-stop tour of the UK that includes a date in the North East as well as performances in Edinburgh, Cardiff and London.
The news raised a few eyebrows after the omission of Manchester or Birmingham dates, however, that only promises to make Sunderland a cannot-miss event. Tickets are on sale soon here and demand is expected to be extremely high.
Beyonce released Renaissance, her critically acclaimed dance album, on the sly in July 2022 and she recently appeared on stage for her first headline show since 2018 during an exclusive event for the media in Dubai.

Rumours of Beyonce going on tour have been spiralling for a while, with some US dates announced earlier today. The queen solidified those whispers by posting a spicy picture on Instagram, complete with the caption "Renaissance World Tour 2023".
When is Beyonce coming to Sunderland?
Beyonce’s UK tour will include five UK dates in May 2023. She will be performing at Sunderland’s Stadium of Light on May 23 2023.
The date falls in the first leg of the tour, which kicks off in Stockholm on May 10 and finishes with the second of two London shows.

May 14, 2023 – Brussels, BE – King Baudouin Stadium
May 17, 2023 – Cardiff, UK – Cardiff Principality Stadium
May 20, 2023 – Edinburgh, UK – BT Murray Field Stadium

May 26, 2023 – Paris, FR – Stade de France
May 29, 2023 – London, UK – Tottenham Hotspur Stadium
May 30, 2023 – London, UK – Tottenham Hotspur Stadium
When do tickets for Beyonce at Sunderland go on sale?
There’s no time to hesitate as some tickets will be available from certain sellers from tomorrow, February 2 2023. Make sure that, if you qualify for any of these pre-sales, you are registered in advance and have your details saved and at the ready as demand will be high and it’s likely that the pre-sale allocation will sell out.

When did Beyonce last tour the UK?
It’s been almost five years since Beyonce last set her stiletto-clad feet on the road in the UK. Her previous tour alongside megastar husband Jay-Z was back in 2018 when the couple visited Cardiff, Glasgow, Manchester and London.
